By this post I am addressing those honest Punekars who feel that the candidate must be good in Marathi and those who might like to ask how I have assets worth 22 crores.

• My father received a gallantry award in the Second World War. In those days such acts were honoured by the government. As a reward the government gave him land. Much later this land was sold and my father built a house in Delhi in Green Park. The house was built before I joined the IAS.
• Another house in Diplomatic Enclave in Delhi was built by my grandfather and given to my mother before I joined the IAS.
• The house in Diplomatic Enclave came to my share in the family partition after my mother died. This house has been valued at Rs. 20 crores.
